• After playing chess for more than 20 years, John has become quite a good player. Last year he participated in the New Hampshire Championship and became 2nd. He lost the final against a 12 year old boy from Concord.

• After the final he was hospitalized after drinking too much coffee and eating sausages. He had a mild heart attack.

• He has been tutoring his own children in playing chess, and his youngest boy seems to be quite a talented boy. John sees a future i for his son playing chess proffesionally. The problem is that his son is much more interested in playing football and beeing outside cycling with his buddy James from next door.
